I'm 5'7, 165 lbs. A large fits well with room underneath to wear with my uniform (USAF). Had the Velcro sowed on, looks good.

This is a very versatile fleece jacket. It can be worn as an intermediate layer or as an outer jacket. It has enough pockets and other features to make it worth while.

This fleece is really warm and you can wear it alone or with another coat. I've worn it under my heavy winter coat on long walks in the frigid Chicago cold, and sometimes I'll actually overheat. Great when just worn by itself, too. The tons of pockets make it incredibly useful. I've had many types and styles of these fleece jackets, and I highly endorse this one as my favorite.

This jacket is warm and fits great. I needed a cold weather jacket that could display my instructor and range safety officer patches during classes out in Wyoming and this thing is perfect. Room to layer just a bit underneath and still maneuverable for various firearm drills. Rothco always makes great stuff and this is no exception. Love it!

Hubby really likes this fleece. His only complaint was it is heavier then a standard fleece so he wears when it's really cold (not many of those days here) vs wearing all winter/fall as he planned.

Pair with this the Spec Ops Soft Shell and you have a very nice insulation layer and outer layer for a wide range of weather conditions besides snow and extreme cold. The fleece is nice and soft and provides decent warmth. There's parts that are covered in polyester for water and wind resistance, but you'll will need a dedicated wind/water resistant jacket for those conditions. I'm 5'4 and 135 lbs, I ordered the small and it fits the body perfectly fine, but it is slightly long.

Well ordering was a pain but because of this covid delay with the mail next day was next week. The style and comfort are all I was looking for in a light coat and for Colorados cold nights it works like a champ I love my jacket and I hope to get another bit diffrent color. Rothco is the freaking best.

Its a bit looser fit than my military issue parka liner fleece but the addition of the arm and chest pockets and the flip out sleeve bits with the thumb holes are welcome additions. Quality seems great, definitely warm but until I go out and beat the hell out of it I can only say so much. Over all though great product for everyday wear around town at least, and if its as strongly reinforced as the company says (which has been my experience in the past) then should be just what I need.

I'm in the USAF and I bought this hoping it'd be Coyote Brown like we need - along with high quality. NOTE: This does NOT have the velcro placements for name/USAF/rank. I paid $6 for alterations to sew them on. WELL WORTH IT!!! This is a THICK fleece and beats the crap at the BX/PX by price AND quality! The color is Coyote Brown like we need and it's comfortable!!! FAR better than looking like a Wookie with the furry issued type we get. I'll DEFINITELY purchase a few more. Check my other review for the waffle undershirt. If you buy these two, you'll be VERY warm -- AND IN REGS W/ THE NEW AFI!!! The new AFI says Coyote Brown, not the specific STYLE. Just like AFSOC uses Crye OCPs, you can use a different style as long as it meets the AFI standards. THIS DOES.

you have to have Velcro or your tapes sewn directly to the coat but other than that it is nice. I doubt I would buy it for casual wear but for work it does the job. The top of the zipper rubs on your chin if you zip it all the way up , but other than that its fine.
