This jacket is waterproof and wind proof, we have had some hard rain down in southern california it was nice to have a trusty waterproof jacket and not having to worry about anything leaking in and soaking the the clothes under. So over all great buy! get a size bigger im 6'2 and 150ibs so a bit short somewhat but it all in all it works perfect for my standards! Tip to keep it fully waterproof on the zippers push the zippers fully inder the little tab on top of the zipper lining! Hope this jacket works for guys!

Im 5'4 160lbs with a size S and it fit perfect, looked awesome, and kept me both warm and dry ALL DAY snowboarding.

This jacket is exactly what I hoped for in a tactical jacket. It is warm, lightweight for its design and has excellent fit. The picture is misleading in the sleeves as the picture shows a zip pocket on both sleeves by the wrist. There is only one on the left side. The hood is huge allowing for multiple options on adding extra insulation. I have not tested the water-resistance, but based on my experience with shell fabrics, I believe it will do fine. One reviewer said there were no hand pockets which is not true. True to designs of this style and in keeping with insulating features of adding hand warmers, the pockets at the chest area ARE the hand pockets. These are deep and one feature not mentioned is each pocket is equipped with D-rings for securing small items.<br /><br />The waist and hood are equipped with cordage for gathering to make a more secure fit against the elements. There are inside pockets for ID's and for small items. Realize that this is not a pack, but a jacket and it's designed that way. No bulk, but you can feel the warmth. The sleeve ends are secured with velcro that is widely adaptable. Very nice jacket and I highly recommend to anyone seeking a quality tactical jacket with minimal bulk. Freedom of movement is extraordinary. I would definitely buy again.

Excellent water resistant jacket. I removed my hood because it looks like a flotation device when it was zipped in the collar. Velcro on the wrist is built in so you don't have to worry about bad stitching. I kind of wish it had pockets lower down as well but whatever. Great storage pocket in the back which I use for my gloves. The little flap at the top of the collar covers the zipper so my beard is safe. The upper arm pockets have two smaller pockets in them so you can store smaller items and both arms come with plenty of patch space. For reference I'm 5'11&#34; and weight 250 and the jacket fit great.

I bought this jacket for my job and i absolutely love it. It is really warm and comfy and i like that i can keep it on all day and not get too hot. I normally wear a 3x and ordered a 5x (4x Was unavailable so i went for the next size) and it fit like a charm. Not big and baggy.

This is by far the best jacket I have ever owned and I have owned a lot of jackets.<br /><br />First off sizing: if you you are just using it for fashion I would say go your normal size and you should be fine. I normally wear a XXL but decided to go up in size to a XXXL. The jacket isnt a heavy jacket so if you want to layer it with a hoody or sweater then you should size up. I also suggest you going up in size if you plan on using this jacket as its in tended purpose as a tactical jacket. I found that since the jacket is lager on me that when I put stuff in the pockets I dont find it as snug up against my body and isnt uncomfortable.<br /><br />but this is by far the best jacket I have ever owned there are literally pockets every and they are all functional and intuitive. I found it amazing how naturally it was for me to put things in certain pockets and I just knew where my belongs needed go and when i out them there wldnt forget they were there. the Two chest pockets are genius, if you put your phone in those pockets and forget to zip the way its designed your phone wont fall out. When the hood is tucked in the collar it is really stiff and kinda uncomfortable but you can remove the hood or just leave the hood hanging out not a real issues. I think the only real complaint i have with this jacket is that there are lose threads here and there but you can just snip those away and it fine.. this is literally an amazing jacket and I would highly suggest you buy this jacket I know i will be getting me another

This a great jacket for those who work outside, it keeps the wind at bay and keeps you dry. The collar is fantastic, nice and soft on the inside and high enough to cover your neck area. The velcro cuff straps are the best as well the zippers under the arms for ventilation. its really a well thought out jacket, it's almost a shame to use on job sites. I removed the hood attachment, that's a bit bulky.
