Its' a hat...whats' not to like?

liked mine so much i ordered another for my fellow former army officer best friend

I have a hard time finding hats that fit good on me and this one feels like it's broken in fits well I've ordered multiples a couple had fallen apart due to the stitching but for the price I don't mind and I'm sure if I emailed them about it they would replace it for free will continue to buy these hats

I bought the Midnight Blue Camo (MBC), and the Black one on this same page. Very Excellent Quality and perfect fit, AND quite inexpensive. Velcro on top, front and back. Has Rothco written in relief in the front velcro patch area. Exactly like the hat pictured. This hat fits a little higher than the Condor variety of fitted hats. And it's seems a more quality product than the Black one, which for some reason is called Special Forces, whereas this hat is called tactical, go figure, I guess since the Black one is a lighter weight fabric and the rear strap for tightening is slightly imperfect the Black hat gets to be Special Forces. In any case, the MBC color hat is better. The fabric is slightly heavier and slightly thicker and the weave is a very little bit coarser, all contribute to a slight feel of quality improvement. Both hats are made in China, in the same factory judging by the stitching, it's just the difference in fabric Once adjusted to the size of my head it fits perfectly and the strap stays put due to it being slightly thicker than the black hat.

great fit and value

Like it. Good quality for the price. I like that it doesn't have the little ball bearing at the crown of the hat to hurt your head it you happen to hit something. Instead it is sewn in and has a velcro tab at the very top. Pretty nice unit. I recommend it.

I'm ordering another one right now. This hat fits better than any tactical hat I've owned and I've owned several major brands. The color is exactly what I would call true coyote. It hits close to the top of my head without having to pull it all the way to my ears. (it doesn't to look tall). This is a great hat for the money. Yes the velcro is a little bigger than most patches but it's not over stated. I'm adding a photo of my old one for comparison.

Great new camo pattern.

Rothco products never let me down! I buy their brand when ever I can. This Operator tactical hat is pretty standard but one difference from my other operator caps that I have purchased is the adjusting band has a plastic adjusting buckle. The Condor hats have a small metal buckle. I have found that this plastic buckle, although larger actually stays adjusted better and doesn't slide with wear. I have had this about a month and wear it almost daily. Just a heads up common to most products; Coyote Brown seems to be different with different companies. This is darker by quite a bit than the Condor hats, (even taking into account fading), or other products that I have.
