The XL is like a medium. Take care with the size you order. Is a nice vest.

This is a perfectly serviceable vest for my photographic stuff. It is not perfect, but I did not pay several hundred dollars for one with waterproof vest pockets and mesh all around. It will be better when the weather cools down, I do soak it with sweat after a good outdoor photography expedition. the pockets aren't padded, so the lenses need to be in some kind of covering. The fabric would be little protection in any serious rain. It is, however, allowing me to explore if I want to invest in something more expensive.

A little disappointed in the quality especially of the zippers. After only a month of daily use the thread holding the zippers began fraying. Plus there are hanging threads. At this price point I would definitely expect better quality and the first wash made it even worse.

But a few things I've noticed:They have BIG sizes! Big American sizes 4X+ (I couldn't find many that went past XL or even 2XL) let alone 4X+ !Tons of pockets! I count at least 17!But the drawback is the material, it seems it's 100% cotton but on the thin side and more like LINEN!But again if you're a big guy it's hard to find anything like this so just buy it!

This product would work well for casual attire. Although zippers are plastic and are tough to open. The fabric is thin and not very durable in day to day wear in rough field or construction work.while it does have plenty of pockets both inside and outside which velcro shut. I ordered xlarge and got large but it fits well.

Fits well, lots of pockets. Not sure I've found them all. Shorter then I would have liked - lost one star for that.

Had to return as the large was to big for me. I am 5'9", 185 pounds and I could pull the large away from my chest a good 5 inches. That was too baggy for my liking and need. I returned it for the medium and it worked out great.
