I tried before you buy with this item. I was casually looking for something more up-to-date than the ex-officio travel vest I have had for about 8 years. This vest was not tailored at all and fit me as if I had a beer gut which I do not but I can see why it might be made like that. It was also heavy. The pockets on the inside seemed like they were just added with no thought in mind as to the function or size or what might they might contain. The RA says I ordered a 2X when I thought I ordered a medium. Regardless YMMV.

This vest is versatile. It provides reasonable warmth and its many pockets hold numerous items. My husband wears it all the time. I sewed on a USMC EGA and he gets noticed with a Semper Fi everywhere.

Love this vest and wear it all the time. My concealed pistol never shows and people do not even know you are carrying. Has plenty of room to hold whatever you need plus extra clips. This is my new favorite concealed carry vest.

We bought 2 of these several years ago for an extended trip out of the country. So many zip pockets. Perfect to stash everything.( If only I could remember what's where ). It gave me a total sense of security for my important 'stuff' wherever I roamed. And since 2020 , when I've gone nowhere, it's still in constant use. Just because I like it !

I have been wearing a load bearing vest as part of my every day load out for many years now. This one is different, but I like it. Unlike my old vests, these pockets are inside, out of sight. I like it so far.

I am a quality control employee in a meat processing factory, so I regularly have to carry multiple tools with me around on the job. With this vest I have plenty of space to stash my radio, extra pens, locks, keys, notepads, safety glasses, and any other odds and ends. My favorite feature is the wire-through pocket because I am able to use it to tether my radio mic to keep it from falling off my collar.
