I've tried several other brands, and this is definitely the best one. First, I prefer my canned sockeye with skin and bones because it's healthier. Both disappear when the salmon is mashed. Rubinstein's has the right amount of salt - not too much, no added water, and it's neatly cut in a whole section, not messy like at least one other brand. The stamped best by dates are years away. Above all, it's super delicious!Note: Don't buy the 6-pack. It's held together with packing tape, and all the labels come off with the tape.

Well packed salmon devoid of most bones and skin. It is easy to use and is tasty. I use it to toss with pasta (hot or cold), salmon sandwiches, salmon croquettes, salmon salad or with couscous plus pine nuts.

We used this red salmon for sandwiches. It tasted great and could have easily made four sandwiches. We overloaded our three sandwiches with the salmon. We are satisfied with our purchase and would buy again when we run out of supply.

The Salmon Cakes are just made in a mason jar in fridge. I heard a few days chilling is most rewarding . Will revise post when finally cooked. The can open smells like pretty acceptable tuna.

I read the bad reviews. I can't speak to the dented cans but this is the best canned Wild Salmon I have ever eaten. Its wonderful, has great flavor.
