Rugged Ridge 18003.37 Lower Control Arm Skidplate Kit; 07-16 Jeep Wrangler JK

I just got back from my first off roading trip that really included BIG rock crawling and immediately I began looking for this. To many times I violently hit a rock either going up or coming down a obstacle. There are cheaper alternatives, but I wanted something that was bolt on and didn't require welding and this does perfectly. Installation was done by me alone on my back under the Jeep in my garage. I was able to torque each bolt appropriately, but it did take some serious effort since I was on my back under the Jeep. If you have access to a lift that won't be a problem. Biggest thing for me is piece of mind when wheeling and this is going to give it to me. FYI, I run a 2017 JKU with a 3.5 inch Rough Country lift on 35s if that matters. Stay safe out there people...
