So far so good !! Boat is docked at camp throughout the summer . And we had 11 inches of rain this month!! It definitely worked flawlessly so far, as a boat owner we know they don't last forever so I Change every two seasons. But great switch I'm still floating!!!!!

Replacing what was in my older boat. 1:1 replacement so they haven't changed the design in 20 years. Nice to have something that old be easy to replace. Usually companies go through 30 different new and improved design changes or discontinue product lines at which point you have no choice but to try and buy something that never works or matches like the original.

What does “sheerness and thickness” have to do with an automatic bilge pump switch? I think you need to find smarter people to develop these questions.

These floats work great. I've tried the SeaFlo weighted floats and they seem to heavy and allow too much water to build up before tripping the bilge pump. Replaced it with one of these and it woks great.
