I like hoodies and prefer wearing them to jackets. I wear them at home or when I go out. My collection consists of a mix of zip-up hoodies and pullovers. Lately I've been favoring pullover hoodies, so when I had the chance to try the Russell Athletic, I was excited to try it out.Russell Athletic isn't really the first brand I think of when I'm looking for a new hoodie. I have a lot of random hoodies with sports teams on them and travel spots I've been to, in addition to sportswear brands like Nike and Puma and outdoor brands like Marmot and REI. After spending some time with the Russell Athletic, I have to admit that it's one of my go-to hoodies at the moment. I like the black heather color a lot and it's really comfortable. I like that it's not too heavy, but still thick enough to keep me warm most of the time. My only tiny complaint is that it's a little longer than most of my hoodies. Other than that, it pretty much fits as expected. I like a few of the other available colors and will be keeping my eye on them to see if they drop in price a little bit, so I can pick up another 2 or 3.

Really comfortable and lightweight. Simple hoodie but I typically go for those kinds of styles. Really good value.

Resident teen loves his slouchy hoodies and this fits the bill. It shrank a little but not enough to put off the sizing. It is soft and comfortable. It's not heavyweight so is more for casual wear in the winter. It's not fitted like so many items are these days which makes is more slouchy and casual. Overall a win that I anticipate will get a lot of use this winter.

My husband is wild about this hoodie. It's a good example of something very simple just done right. It's not flashy, just a nice, solid, gray, well-made hoodie. The material is thick and warm and soft. The hood has wide drawstrings, and the front pocket is big enough to hold a lot or just keep your hands in to keep them warm. This fit my husband exactly as he likes in his usual size. He's worn it a few times already, and I am pretty sure once winter hits, it will be hard to get it off him at all! I've washed and dried it and it came out looking great---even softer and no shrinking. Very nice hoodie!

It's exactly what I expected to be. A gift for my partner, it fit him perfectly. It's simple, warm, comfy and practical, he loves a lot. Perfect for the coming cold season.

This is nice and soft, both inside and out. I typically wear between Medium or Large, and ordered a Large in this. It fits nice and oversized slightly like a hoodie typically does. Very comfortable and very little branding.

Fits true to size and very comfortable. Simple dark grey hoodie could be great for DIY or just leave it as is

I've been wearing Russell Athletic Men's Cotton sweatshirts for nearly twenty years. I still have the same ones, too. Of course, I only wear them from October-April, with a warm underwear top, sometimes over a heavy flannel shirt. I love them and will only wear this brand. Thank you for making them so durable, comfortable and warm. Hoping to go twenty more years with Russell!

This is a great, medium-weight hoodie. It looks great and is very well made. I ordered the black heather color and I like the color. This hoodie is 66 cotton and 34 polyester and is made in El Salvador. I ordered the extra large size since I like hoodies and sweatshirts to be a bit baggie. Plus cotton always shrinks a bit when washed the first time.The front pocket is deep enough that you can put something in it without the item sliding out easily. This will be a handy pullover in cooler weather, but it would not be the only protection you would need from bitter cold. It is light but still good for cool summer or fall nights. The fleece fabric makes this very cozy.I will probably end up buying another in a different color since I need slip-over sweat shirts and hoodies living in Colorado where the evenings can be cool and brisk even when the daytime is warm.

Overall, this is a very good hoodie. It's soft, comfortable, reasonably warm but not too thick and bulky, and launders easily (doesn't take too much time to dry although I noticed some shrinkage). The fabric feels smooth and fairly high quality and is absorbent. Stains will show and might possibly last if not treated quickly, unlike a polyester fabric. The hood is generous as are the pockets. Stitching it tight and even and the ribbing has a sturdy snap! when recovering from stretch.The neck is about average for this type of pullover so there isn't a lot of air that gets in from above but it's not snug. If you're in cold weather with a breeze, use a scarf. Drawstrings are adequate and work as expected. The hood is warm, as this is cotton fleece. The sleeves are probably fine for someone with average arms but mine are long and if you wear a Long in suits, you may want to order a size larger. This may encourage additional layering, as a larger size will allow more air conditioning (more space for the air to enter) but I cannot stand a garment with sleeves that are too short.Overall, a good, solid hoodie that works well for my needs. The fabric is better than average and construction appears to be well done, serging and cover stitching. Nice!

This hoodie fits me just right. Not too tight or too bulky. Makes me feel like Rocky Balboa when I'm out walking. Even picked up the matching sweatpants for added effect! :-)

We purchased this hoodie for my daughter with the intent of putting a graphic on it. product was perfect for that. Graphic went on well, and has held up perfectly after several washes. great hoodie.

Solid comfortable hoodie

This cotton fleece hoodie is comfortable, looks good and fits well.

This sweatshirt is comfortable and fits as expected. The fabric is soft and feels good on my skin. It machine washes and air dries well without shrinking noticeably. I have not machine dried this because it fits perfectly and I don't want to chance it shrinking on me. I am very happy with the sweater.

I picked this up for my fiance'. He looks so handsome in it.The stitching is nice and strong and the piece is put together well. (As someone who has sewn all of their life, I look for this). It fits beautifully and hasn't become misshapen in the wash.
