I really like the simplicity of these, the ones you get from Walmart have that black stripe on the side which looks weird. I just wanted something basic that would pair nicely with my red shirt so I picked the royal blue color and it looks so good no matter what shirt I wear with it. These are also the most comfortable shorts I ever put on and the fabric is thin smooth and flexible like silk, it's more lightweight than the ones you can get at Walmart. I wear these indoors in the winter and these should keep me very cool outside in the summer. It even comes with nice large pockets and it fits me perfectly, and I only payed 15 dollars for it so I might buy it again in other colors next time.

This item far exceeds any expectations I'd imagined. Equally matching this excellence is the seller Shop Smile, whom by the way, live up to their name, as I exactly did that: Shop, and Smiled. Delivery was quick, and arrived in perfect condition and packaging. Upon arrival, I immediately requested another. I wish all my orders are as perfect as this. I've used these shorts for training, casual wear, and to just lounge around the house: sturdy, comfortable, and the pockets make it practical. There is just enough elasticity in the waist band to provide comfort, and the inside draw string offers reassurance for more strenuous activity as it allows me to use these shorts for running. Great deal for the price.

Purchased a pair of Russell's, Nike, and Champion. The Russell's won, just looking at fit, I wear at the waist, thickness of fabric, and like two front pockets....the Russell's won. Nike had a very small rise, too tight if you wear them st the waist, the Champions, too thin. Then if you look at price, well it's a sweet deal.

He loves them. Comfortable. Lightweight. Great color and fabric. He is 61 and 208 lbs. I bought the medium cuz he has a 34 waist. He could wear a large as well.

These are the lightest, most comfortable, cool-dry style athletic shorts i have ever owned. Lighter and more comfortable than similar versions from Nike and Adidas and half the price! They are single layer, but quality seems good so far and haven't pilled or snagged yet like most budget value athletic shorts do.

A great light weight pair of shorts, I would expect nothing less from Russell Athletics, be careful when ordering these run just a little small. I'm a true 32 waist and they fit very nice. If you are a 33 or 34 the Mediums will be snug to uncomfortable so size up. Other than the fit.....the are great, I would say perfect but my wife reminds me only God is perfect.

These run a little small apparently. The drawstring is too short to be tied. I ordered an XL. I'm between a 38 and 40 waist and always order this size. The shorts fit fine, not much extra room but its fine. Also I ordered the purple and its not as vibrant in person. More of a midnight purple which I still like but not as bright as the picture. I'm going to take out the drawstring and replace it with a longer shoe string. Order a size up!
