I ordered two of these to replace the latches on my RV storage compartment. These cam locks have smooth action and an open and closed position. The old latches I replaced would just spin and spin. Tightening was a challenge, I had to go to the hardware store for 3/4” washers, and they were hard to find. Ended up putting a rubber gasket on the face side, and a fiber gasket on the latch side. It was a little tight. Next time I would order the 1-3/16” to have more space for washers, but these will work. Very happy with the latch mechanism. The hardest part of the install was removing the old latches, but otherwise it's a fairly easy job. Oh, one more thing, you'll need a 7/8” or 22m socket to remove or install the cam.

I purchased new cam locks for my trailer storage compartments and did double locks to make them more secure, which was a great suggestion from a YouTuber....that said, there are times I don't need them locked, but to properly close them, I had to carry the key with me.I bought these and installed them in the center of the doors and life was made easier!

I bought it to replace a keyed cam lock and it ended up looking WAYYYYY cuter than I expected. Highly recommended.One thing that I adjusted is it's slightly bigger than the original cam lock hole - I don't know if it's made bigger or the hole is smaller than normal. I used utility knives and sand paper to make the hole bigger.

This worked perfect for an arcade system I am building. Used this for the back door and it has a locking behavior when turned to each position. My board was 5/8 and this was a tad too long even after putting on the cutout plate to prevent the lock from turning in the hole. I would have ordered one just under an inch in length if I got another. I was able to bend the lock flat plate on the end to make a tight fit when closing. Hope this helps.

Works great to replace RV locks. Would be nice if seller sold in a larger quantity with a price break, it seems odd that the keyed version is less expensive than this one. Quality seems good. I replaced the lock on the outdoor shower. Comes with both straight and offset.
