For $20 I can now test spark while the plugs remain grounded in the block. Makes diagnosing much easier and cleaner.

The bulb is weak as a mouse, but it does serve it's purpose. The rubber is quality and the clips are all firm. There's 1 drawback on the long tube, though. It's a bit too thick to fit into some vehicles. Luckily you can just shave some of the rubber 34;wings34; off the tube and it'll fit just fine. More of a nuisance.

Being a professional tech i use this kit often and I can tell you it does the job. Everything from domestic to foreign cars and trucks it plugs right in and gives a good bright light for clear diagnosis. The price is great and the parts are lasting forever, good pick for the money you pay. The only downside is the storage they give you. It comes in a cardboard box and so I had to put everything is something more sturdy cause the cheap cardboard didn't last long. Otherwise, great product.

Although overall quality seems a little questionable, I've already put the set to good use and didn't have any issues. What I do like is that all the included parts allow for a variety of test configurations, with nearly all parts being bi-directional. In my case, I needed a deep-tube setup inline with coil packs. The bulb has a very subtle glow to it, but was perfectly visible in daylight. I had some fears of it falling apart when trying to remove it from the spark plug tube, but did not experience any issues and was able to successfully test everything things. All things considered, the kit worked great and makes for a very simple and useful addition to my tools. I think a thicker grade silicone and better packaging would have earned it a 5th star.
