My sandpaper got clogged in some spots but not all so maybe this block has high spots. I'm new to auto body so I'm not sure if this is common so I'll give 5 stars because it got the job done

I have five of these that I put 120, 220, 320, 400 and 600 grit sandpaper in. They work fine and the new one is close to my thirty year old ones in appearance and function. The block was a little slimy which I wiped off with some lacquer thinner. Works well.

I have had several of these for a number of years. I like the weight and the feel, but I also like the flat yet slightly flexible sanding surface. There are usually 2-3 on my bench loaded with different grits ready to grab.

I use this sanding block all the time. It has a solid, heavy rubber feel and I expect it will last forever.

Purchased a black sanding block from local hardware...rubber was so hard you couldn't bend the edges to insert the sandpaper..this purchase is like my old (and I mean, really old and well used) block and expect many years of use from this one as well. Threw the black one out.

Reminds me of the sanding blocks I used in the olden days. It holds the paper securely and fits your hand very well to make any sanding job much easier - if that's even possible. I used mine to final sand a wall I had recently rebuilt and compounded. I found sanding in circles eliminated the back-and-forth marks left behind by the sanding paper. Very pleased with the results.

We ordered this sanding block because all the ones at our home center were plastic, not rubber. This is just an old fashion sanding block like your grandfather used. Some things don't need improvement. I purchased 3 becaue my husband said for that price, l will have a block for each sandpaper grit and won't have to change the paper.
