I play this game more often with my family member that has dementia than bingo or uno. It is fun for them and it helps keep their mind active. Highly recommend it.

Love this product for my 80 year old MIL. She has Alzheimer's and it seems to be the most fun. I would separate the phrases into separate bags though. Is hard to go through and separate them out in the beginning. I just put them in separate zip lock bags.

This game really is very nice. The sayings are printed on sturdy foam bricks. They are easy to read, even without glasses. I bought it to play with my 90-year old mom, who has dementia. The kit also comes with a sturdy, red fabric bag to store all the pieces.

Perfect for my relative with a traumatic brain injury. Her memory is poor for many things, but she could remember most of these sayings and enjoyed getting them right.

My Mother is 93 and almost blind. I matched these up and divided into small groups of 5 or 6. She loves them. We read her the first and she gets excited when she knows the second half.

My husband has dementia and I ordered this for him! I learned that giving him all the pieces at the same time was way too overwhelming, so we only do 10 at a time now. I separated them into groups in plastic bags-I don't want to discourage him with so many choices! Very easy to transport as it doesn't way much! A great addition to our “brain games”.

We played this as a game in various ways: I simply read the first part and she completed the saying, matching first and second half of saying, and having choices of the second half to match to the first half. This was great because many she recalled and sone were new to her. She couldn't always explain what they meant but the recall of the saying was pleasing for her. To redirect her I'd place the pieces on the table and she would simply sit and start it on her own. Loved this!

its fun and dementia clients remember the past so they remember these sayings, if they grew up saying them. Being foam its good sensory too.

I did not give Mom whole bag - just put 3-5 of them to match during her morning tea. I did not manage her putting them together just let her touch them and do it with no oversight or pressure. Some mornings she wants to talk about them/ sometimes she just fiddles with them:

This was kinda fun for our whole family, but more “educational” therapeutic for anyone with memory impairment, like for some Seniors. My mom really enjoyed it, even though she was unfamiliar with some, and had trouble with remembering others. I could see it being more distressing than fun if not being able to remember many of the easier ones. We kept it light, and played it out by picking out the “funniest” pairings, and then having to claim if it was the actual saying.
