I love the small size of the watch as I do not have huge wrists but it is big enough to easily read the dial but small enough I don't bump into stuff

Looks great too: not flashy and flies under the radar.Where Seiko could make improvements without bumping the price as much?(1) increase diameter to 38mm - 38.5 mm(2) increase lug width to 20mm(3) remove the “5” logo on the dial.(4) in addition to dial color options, offer a type “A” option.Save the “automatics”

I got very surprised when noticed it had two languages on the calendar (Spanish, English).Unfortunately the seller forgot sending me the warranty signed, but I really like this watch. It's very cheap, realiable and I use it daily.

I don't like that it doesn't work at night. And I'm sorry that it runs slow and I have to reset it so often

Looks good. Works well. Maybe a little smaller than I would have liked. Costs less than it will cost to service it . So essentially a disposable watch. A good starter watch to see if you want to go mechanical rather than quartz. Id get another :)

Not the seller's fault but Seiko doesn't honor their warranty for this product. I bought one a couple years ago and it was great. My favorite watch ever! When it stopped keeping accurate time I couldn't figure out what the problem was and couldn't find the warranty card anywhere but I love the watch so much that I decided to purchase another since it would surely cost more to repair without the warranty card which I had failed to keep track of. Well within months, that watch stopped working and when I inspected the case back I could see that a jewel had fallen out of the movement and was floating around in there. This time I had kept the warranty card and followed the instructions to send it in to Seiko for service only to get an email from the service center that the watch was out of warranty and they wanted to charge me close to the combined purchase price of BOTH of the failed watches that I have bought to date. I tried for weeks to get any kind of reply from the service center explaining why the watch was declared out of warranty and got no response. In conclusion, this is essentially the perfect automatic timepiece in terms of size, function, and design aesthetic until it fails... which seems to happen within a year every time I buy one and then the manufacturer's service center WILL NOT HONOR THE WARRANTY, charging you double to fix it. I'm not going to keep buying one every year just because it's cheaper than the cost to repair and neither should you. Seiko should be ashamed.

I love the aesthetics of this watch, and its a welcome replacement to the countless cheap quartz watches I typically wear to work. That being said, I wear this watch pretty much constantly, to work, to sleep, while cooking, doing dishes, manual labor, etc. So far, not a single noticeable scratch on the body of the watch, or the glass. I haven't tested the waterproofing at all, so I do take it off in the shower. In the few weeks I've had this watch on, it hasn't lost a minute, and it's never had to be wound at all, even on days where I'm not active at all, or sleep in. I'd call it an excellent watch, well worth the purchase, just slap a nice stainless steel watchband and you're good for any occasion.

So far it's been great. The band is ok, it's a little stuff (to be expected for a new band) so it's a little tough to put on. I think it'll break in pretty quickly.

Good looking field watch in a classic size with a legible dial and a day/date complication that doesn't seem out of place. Works well on a NATO strap paired with a Casio F-91W as a secondary time zone, chronograph, and alarm. Would prefer that the entire case had a bead-blasted finish but the high polish between the lugs isn't a deal breaker. Buy one before they run out (discontinued).
