My nearly 7 year old nephew LOVES these planes. He started collecting the Daron die-cast, but when he learned about these, they became his new obsession. The detail is just outstanding. Absolutely not build for the same type of everyday play the die-cast planes are, but these aren't as fragile as they look. My guy knows they cannot be left around the house and a fall from table height on to tile floor would surely damage one. Yes they're really more for adult model collectors, but this kid is super into accurate representation! Mission accomplished!
