Mission: Our mission is to improve and enrich the lives of parrots through rescue, rehabilitative fostering, adoption and education.

Results: In 2021, STAR found homes for 146 birds (+46% to 2020), took in 188 birds (+83% to 2020) and decreased the length of stay by 28% over 2020.Foster homes increased from 13 to 41, allowing the increase in intakes without sacrificing the one-on-one care offered in our foster homes.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Last year, we re-homed over 100 birds. We continue to grow year over year. Our educational programs continue to grow year over year as well.
