STKR 00385 Flexit Rechargeable Pocket Light 650 Lumens

This is the brightest most versatile flashlight I've ever owned. You can bend it, hook it up with the clip or use the magnetic base for hands-free odd jobs. I mainly use this flashlight when I walk my dogs at night; and it works great! It has 4 battery indicator lights you'll know when it's time to recharge, usually after about one hour of continuous use. For the next generation, a longer lasting charge would be great! This is the best flashlight I've ever owned highly recommend it.

I bought this because I liked the idea, with its flexible head, magnetic base and versatile belt clip I had a number of use cases that I could use it in.As it stands, I do use it in those cases and (with some of my own tinkering) it performs well.NB that while it does provide good working light in a small area (think arm's length, workbench or a couple square feet ahead of you), it is not nearly as bright as any of the 18650 powered adjustable beam, lenser flashlights out there.I was surprised to see it was made of plastic, but having used it for a month now, that doesn't appear to be much of an issue.So on to the problems.1. First off, the battery contacts are made so flimsy that any movement or shaking of the light while its on causes it to turn off. When you shake it you can actually hear and feel the battery shaking about in there.I had to open mine and use hot glue to create the support needed behind the battery contacts to maintain a secure connection.I also added a couple layers of gaffer tape to the inside of the housing to help keep the battery from shaking about.2. The rubber backing that sits behind the light itself peeled nearly completely off (due to heat I presume), So I used an automotive grey RTV silicone to reattach it.3. The magnet in the bottom fell off and disappeared, for this i replaced the magnet with another, again using grey RTV to secure it.Having made these fixes it works great and does everything I need of it.None of these problems were difficult to fix but at $50 a pop, these build quality issues are unforgivable, these would be unforgivable at half that price.

Arrived with a full battery. Super bright and has a bunch of different modes. The magnet and flexible head make it super versatile.

The swiss army knife of the flashlight. Multi functional: you can stick it, hang it and even clip it all hands free. Small and lite but very bright with several settings. Haven't explored all functions but already helped with several projects (not sure how I did them before). USB rechargeable make it very convenient and economical.
