I bought this because I liked the idea, with its flexible head, magnetic base and versatile belt clip I had a number of use cases that I could use it in.As it stands, I do use it in those cases and (with some of my own tinkering) it performs well.NB that while it does provide good working light in a small area (think arm's length, workbench or a couple square feet ahead of you), it is not nearly as bright as any of the 18650 powered adjustable beam, lenser flashlights out there.I was surprised to see it was made of plastic, but having used it for a month now, that doesn't appear to be much of an issue. So on to the problems.1. First off, the battery contacts are made so flimsy that any movement or shaking of the light while its on causes it to turn off. When you shake it you can actually hear and feel the battery shaking about in there.I had to open mine and use hot glue to create the support needed behind the battery contacts to maintain a secure connection.I also added a couple layers of gaffer tape to the inside of the housing to help keep the battery from shaking about.2. The rubber backing that sits behind the light itself peeled nearly completely off (due to heat I presume), So I used an automotive grey RTV silicone to reattach it.3. The magnet in the bottom fell off and disappeared, for this i replaced the magnet with another, again using grey RTV to secure it.Having made these fixes it works great and does everything I need of it.None of these problems were difficult to fix but at $50 a pop, these build quality issues are unforgivable, these would be unforgivable at half that price.
