Mission: STOMP The Monster™ NC provides financial support and other assistance to help ease the stressful impact of increased non-covered medical expenses and loss of income that often accompanies a cancer diagnosis. We provide assistance to patients undergoing treatment for all types of cancer. Stomp the Monster NC helps fill the gaps so that patients can focus on healing and engage fully in treatment without extreme financial stress. We call these interventions STOMPs.
Results: Supports nearly 400 patients with financial assistance in excess of $115K since we starting in October 2012
Target demographics: cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy or radiation
Direct beneficiaries per year: 250 patients.
Geographic areas served: North Carolina
Programs: financial assistance to ease the devastating financial impact that cancer and the treatment cause. We pay rent, electric, utilities, gas, groceries, and medical expenses.
