Causes: Animals, Wildlife Sanctuaries

Mission: Saint Francis Wolf Sanctuary is dedicated to the care of rescued, non-releasable wolves and wolfdogs. We do not buy, sell, or breed them. We believe they deserve a stable home for the rest of their natural lives, with an abundance of loving and compassionate care. We also support educating the public about issues involving wolves and wolfdogs, and dispelling the many myths that surround these frequently misunderstood animals. We welcome community organizations, groups, and individuals who wish to visit and learn the truth about wolves and wolfdogs.

Results: We have directly rescued and provided loving, lifelong homes to 48 animals over the past 18 years. We have also saved many more through our networking and conversations with owners, shelters, and Animal Control agencies across the country. Thousands of visitors from all over the world visit our sanctuary each year, and it has been our pleasure to educate them about our pack and the importance of wolves and wolfdogs in this world.
