Works fine, easy to adjust. Mine was a little scuffed up in the center of the faceplate probably due to poor manufacture packaging.

This is NOT a pricey unit, although cheaper ones can be found of course. However after trying a few cheaper ones and finding them quot;disposablequot;, I decided to spend a little more in hopes of not having to buy another. I think I have succeeded! Initial impressions: - lens is quite clear, seems thicker that less expensive models I have used before - lens/shield is molded, so it wraps more below the chin (Other shields are made flat, then wrap and because they are held only at the top, the bottom actually flares out). This lens doesn't hit my shoulders when I turn my head (or hit much of anything). I'll find out if this increases fogging tendency in the summer (Georgia) due to trapping my breath more... - head straps are of course adjustable, but also the lens/shield distance from the face can be adjusted in and out (not just tilt). - head straps appear thicker and sturdier than less expensive models i have had - head band padding is better, and better quality material - lens/shield securely attached to head piece, yet easily/quickly removed for replacement Barring the plastic getting brittle (as cheaper models have done to me) and breaking, I anticipate being very happy with spending and extra $5-10 for this face shield again, the plastic is sturdy so I don't think this will be an issue.

Arrived quickly and works great....fogs up easy but don't think you can do anything about that. Would be a problem regardless..

You get what you pey for. Its much better then any google/glasses for work bcs u have safe all face if not head. But pex is easy for scratching and visibility is reduced. If you want to buy pricy glasses better buy this shield. Good for grinding, dust, wood and everything what can be on you face.

Great quality, heavy duty, great for woodworking. The head part isn't the most comfortable but also not horrible. Maybe a small band or something around the strap inside would help.

Works well. A must have for woodturning. I took multiple impacts straight in the face, one a 6 inch piece of pine very sharp, a small bowl "fly away" and others. The shield held up perfectly and protected me. I recommend this item.

It is light year from the el-cheapo face shield that I bought from the local hardware store. The face shield is so clear (because it still new perhaps?), that I forgot that I had it on and kept trying to blow the shaving from my lathe, a habit! I kept blowing into the face shield - kind of funny!! Very happy with the product and I hope it won't be discolored like the cheaper one.

The item is well built, comfortable, easy to assemble, clear and provides good coverage. There is ample room so that the item does not interfere with dust masks or eye glasses. There is enough ventilation around the shield to prevent a build up of heat and it does not fog up. Size adjustment is easy. Overall a very good product for a fair price. Much better than expected when first ordered.

I did my research for a good face shield. and it came down to this one. used it several times, had it about 6 months now and works great! i use it in the automotive industry and works when you need more protection then just safety glasses. fully adjustable and will fit my small head. a little heavy in the front but that is to be expected, the shield it self is very sturdy. highly recommended!

I'm actually giving this a 5 star rating because the quality and clarity are top notch and once you've read my review nobody else should have the problem I have.I have a large head. Not ridiculous but I wear large size hats, okay? The headpiece on this face shield is incapable of being adjusted above about a "medium" hat size. Yes, I'm sure. Myself and two engineering buddies have nearly torn the thing apart while laughing about this. I set the top band to the maximum hole (which is easy to see) and we've opened up the back unit to confirm it can't possibly get any bigger. So for now it just kind of sits way up on top of my head and gives me headaches. I may just cut the band to make it larger.I still give it five stars though as the clarity, weight, and antifog is the best I've ever used. I just wish it would fit!!!!Now you know. This is totally the item you want *unless* you have a really big head. You'll know if this applies to you. If you're uncertain about your head size then the warning doesn't apply :)If you have a really big head, you may still want this and be prepared to cut the band and explain to your giggling co-workers.

I purchased this face shield (SAS 5145) to use when turning wood, and I'm pleased with its design and manufacture. The headpiece is adjustable over the top of the head using snaps, and in the back has a ratchet knob. It was easy to get a comfortable and secure fit. The plastic lens on the front appears to be manufactured using a molding process rather than cut from a plastic sheet. The lens has a bit of bubble shape and tapers towards the bottom. It's sturdier than some of the cheaper models I've used in the past. The distance from the face seems right; it is close enough to protect you but allows enough room for breathing without fogging. Overall, I think it is worth a few extra bucks to get this sort of quality.
