Mission: At Save-A-Pet, we believe it is our moral responsibility to protect and improve the lives of abused, abandoned, and homeless cats and dogs, and to place them in loving permanent homes. We work diligently to educate the public, especially children, on the importance of pet sterilization, responsible pet ownership and the humane treatment of animals.

Target demographics: Homeless, abandoned and abused animals.

Direct beneficiaries per year: Over 1000 companion animals

Geographic areas served: Long Island, NY and the southern states

Programs: Rescue and sheltering; Spay/neuter clinics; South Paw program; therapy dog program; education and outreach.
