The year is up and I can definitely say that this has been the best planner I’ve had, yet. I love how the months are tabbed and there is plenty of space to write down my plans, notes, and important info. A from me.

There is less coloring than one might expect in this planner. But it's good for organization, and has an easy to follow system. The one extra thing that would make this a 5 star product is if the month layout had 4 weeks of planning pages following it rather than 2 pages. It's hard to get everything into a month view. It's nice for an elementary school teacher or a homeschooling parent. Paper is thin-nish and Sharpies bleed through. Recommend coloring with coloring pencils.

This is advertised as a 34;coloring planner34;, with 34;doodles to color throughout the year34;. Unfortunately it fails pretty thoroughly in integrating the coloring with the planning. The heart of any planner is the daily pages, and these daily pages contain zero doodles. There's one full page of coloring every month, but if I just wanted to color one standalone page per month I wouldn't need a coloring planner; I could just get a regular coloring book. Even worse, that one page of coloring per month is in a completely different style than the art shown on the cover. The cover art is lighthearted and fun; it looks like it would add cheer to your day without being particularly challenging. The interior coloring pages are far more serious, full of tiny spaces that promise to make you spend more time sharpening your pencils than actually coloring. I was imagining that as I went through my daily planner, I would spend maybe five minutes coloring a cheerful book or flower or pencil or sun, brightening each day with a little design like the ones shown on the cover. Unfortunately this book doesn't deliver on that at all. So why am I still giving it three stars? Because even if it fails dramatically as a coloring planner, it's still perfectly functional as a regular planner. I have no particular antipathy toward it, it just doesn't fulfill my hopes for lighthearted coloring embedded in my daily or weekly spread.

4.5 stars. I'm a homeschooling mom and find this undated planner works really well for our purposes. In the weekly planning section, there are columns for 7 daily subjects. Use a post-it to mark your place in the weekly spreads. (The monthly spreads have tabs.) I find there is plenty of space to write our lesson plans. My only disappointment is you can't use Extra Fine Sharpies on this paper - it bleeds through. Regular ballpoint pens and Staedtler triplus fineliner both work well for writing, but the Staedtler shows through very minimally on the back of the coloring pages (when one area is saturated).

This is an interesting take on a teacher's planner....it gives you coloring opportunities. The planbook part is good and the coloring parts could come in handy during boring faculty meetings!

First off, I'm not a classroom teacher. I'm a homeschool Mom. But this planner is perfect for me. It has monthly calendars at the front of the spiral-bound book, so it can double as my family calendar and my homeschool planner. The coloring pages are actually up there with the monthly calendars. My daughters loved them and wanted to color them for me. Um, no. The weekly planning pages are given a two-page spread. They have Monday through Friday down the left side, and the subject titles/times across the top. The boxes are lined, so they stay neat and orderly, and it doesn't have vertical lines, only the horizontal lines. Sometimes teacher planners don't work well for homeschool moms, but this one actually works well. The only page I wouldn't need is the student roster 2 page spread at the front of the planner. I love that it has a pocket built into the laminated card stock back cover. I need a pocket in my planners! The calendars are undated, as are the weekly pages. I will be using this next year! Best of all, the price is HALF that of a planner designed for homeschool families. And while there are always sections of homeschool planners that I never use, this one doesn't have any of those.

I’m not sure why it’s called a coloring planner... I mean it’s colorf but I don’t really see what I’m supposed to be coloring. It’s good for a personal planner, but I don’t think there’s enough space to write all that I want to write in there. There are a lot of pages so this may last 1-2 years. It’s very neat and organized; I plan on using it as soon as I finish filling out my other one. It’s also very sturdy, do you don’t have to worry about the cover bending and pages ripping. There’s also more planning space in the back!

Huge planner, loads of room for detailed assignments and notes. Adding some of my ink stamps and planner stickers I already have and off I go! Suggestion on packing though, it was in a big envelope but 1/2 of the metal spine rings were caved in and had to use pilers to straighten them out.

I've taught for 26 years, so I was skeptical about the organization of this planner. I really liked how the planner is separated into two different parts--calendar and lesson plans. The designated areas were large enough to be pretty effective for an experienced teacher to get what is needed written into the spaces. The planner is undated, so it can be used any year. I'd let students help color in the areas, but any creative teacher will have fun with this planner.
