Overall, the product is great, but the 12V wires are only 12 long and should be made 4-6 longer. I made it work by splicing in additional wire.

Pretty smart little maintainer and great option for the price. This thing will even detect if you connect the negative and positive backwards.Had it on my battery now for a few days and it is doing its job very well.Only negative I will say is that this is designed for post Style connections. On my Avalanche it will not allow the Rings to slip over as it is the side post 8mm bolt connection, no mounting points. I had to modify the ends to Gator clips to clip the 8mm bolt head, no big deal but again for the price can't beat it.

Do you have something you don't drive every week? This is perfect for keeping the battery in tip top shape. It's small enough to mount just about anywhere under the hood. It works really well.

I've used it for over nine months now. I started my van after 3 months of non-use except for this charger attached; it started on the first turn of the key! It pains me to think of the $100 batteries I bought over the years when all I needed was this. This thing pays for itself over and over and over.

The wiring harness could be improved on this unit. The power cord could be longer so you can route it to the front grill area so you can unplug without raising the hood. The battery side harness should have a quick disconnect. Does a great job at keeping my AGM 1000CCA truck battery at 100. I did mod my harness as I needed. Charger is preeminently mounted and plugs/unplugs in seconds.

Ordered this to install under the hood of the tractor. Nice compact design, all the cables were perfect length for my application, however I could see them being too small for a car or larger piece of equipment. Tractor was having issues running the battery down when not used, this was an easy solution to keep it charged up when not used. Was easy to find a good mounting spot even with the crowded engine compartment.Will probably order another one for the riding mower.

Mounted the maintainer on the insulation surrounding the battery in my Subaru Outback. Has worked well for the week I have had it to keep battery charged this winter during short drives around town.

Pretty straightforward -- a battery tender that you can leave under the hood. Installed one on my Ford Flex two years ago because it rarely leaves my garage, never had any issues with the battery going flat. Survives being driven through Wisconsin winters.Just purchased a second one for my lawn tractor that sits unused for six months at a time.

I mounted this device directly under the hood in a Buick Enclave. The left box for electronic equipmemt is a perfect place to mount this battery charger. It was easy to install.

Works very well but remember if you use an extension cord it has to be the correct gauge conductors.

Great company that makes a number of chargers. This unit does need to be mounted and I had to make a bracket to mount this one in my Dodge Diesel 2007 because there is little room for anything under a hood now a days. I see where for a extra price you can get a bracket. I bought one at my NAPA store a year age and it came with a bracket. Seems like it should be included. It would have gotten a five star review on installation if it did. Can't cost too much for a tiny bracket. This unit is a higher price but definitely worth it compared to others like Harbor Freight's units. Despite my nit picking on a good unit I'm ordering another and recommending it.
