If your vehicle sits for periods of time and the battery goes dead, this will work great for you. The best part, you install it under the hood and it stays there. Plug in an extension cord and it does the rest, automatically. Just don't forget to unplug it before you drive the vehicle. This is what I consider a battery maintainer, not a charger. It will keep a good battery charged in the vehicle.

I purchased a new rearview mirror that has front and rear cameras full mirror LCD. It's for RVs that have bigger batteries and it has shock sensors that monitor while parked, if it's hit or someone tries to break in it will start recording. And it will drain my battery overnight. It's a hassle opening the hood to plug in and unplug everyday. But well worth it for the added security both on the road and while it's parked. Plus it should help extend the life of the battery. I'm good as long as I can remember to plug it in.

This is perfect for any vehicle that you need to keep a trickle charge on. Having a vehicle that is parked for several months this allows you to be able to have the battery stay fully charged. The only drawback that I found is this does not have a fuse in the unit or on the positive lead and I would highly recommend adding a fast blow fuse because they are very sensitive to voltage surges or shorting and the unit will burn up in a second. So put in a 5 amp fast blow in line fuse in the positive lead

After Covid, many of us stopped driving to work every day. And as result, some of us found our cars would not start after sitting for a week. Parasitic drain on my car measured 200mA (1/5 of an amp) and can be time consuming and expensive to figure out which component / ground wire / connector is at fault. Instead, installed this trickle charger and plug my car to an extension cord when I don't plan on driving it for a few days. Problem solved.

I don't drive much (don't have anywhere to go honestly) as a consequence of this my SUV battery kept dying on me. There's nothing wrong with the battery or the car, just simply letting it sit for extended periods, causes a slow drain. After installing this (took maybe 10 mins or less), I just plug up an extension cord into the garage this little guy keeps the battery at optimal charge, performance longer lifespan. Whenever I need to go anyway, I just pop the hood unplug the extension cord go. Have not had a single issue since.

My big battery in my security gate in my driveway kept running down. Turns out that it was because it wasn't getting charged by the electricity from my house because the charger was bad. I bought this one, it charged the battery and my gate has been working perfectly since. Sure beat having to call a gate company to come out and charge me several hundreds of dollars for a $30.00 item the I was easily able to replace myself.

Since the pandemic began, I rarely use my car. Every time I did go to use it, I had to drag out my battery charger to jump start the vehicle. That took a lot more time than I wanted to spend and was far too frequent. With the trickle charging device, that's a headache I no longer have. I just hit the starter button and, Voila! Now, it takes a few seconds to disconnect the extension cord, and I can drive away secure in the knowledge that the car will start when I need it to do so..
