Works great! I don't drive much these days, so I found my car battery getting low between drives. This makes it convenient to simply pop the hood and plug in to keep it completely charged up. Apparently, my battery was also slightly sulfated, and this charger's auto desulfating mode has taken care of it. I was checking my battery regularly with a meter and now that it's been treated, the voltage doesn't drop as fast day-to-day as it did before. I left off a star because mounting it is an adventure and you will need several cable ties (not supplied) to keep the wires from flopping around, and probably extensions for the battery wires. But, it's worth the effort to figure out your mounting because it makes life so much easier to just unplug and go.

Bought this to keep my battery charged on my project car and works flawlessly. Measured everything out and velcroed it to the side of the battery so I didn't have to keep uninstall ING it anytime I wanted to go for a drive. Unplug the power cord and drive off. Definitely a good investment to save your battery.

The wires too short for a clean install inside the engine bay. I spliced longer wires on for the 12v and 110. I ran the 110 line down to where block heater plug is. I wish the wires were longer but otherwise very nice unit.

Not the same model that died after 15 years, but fits into the small space of the old one. the old one was held in with a clamp, the new one has tabs/ears and seems to have upgraded electronics. It hasn't been installed long, but if it lasts as long as the last Schumacher Battery Charger/Maintainer I will be happy. This keeps the battery for my Apollo gate opener charged.

Works great, very happy with this charger and the LED turns green when the battery is charged and ready and it can stay connected after the battery is charged. Keeps the charge level at 12.9

These chargers are the Bomb! I am using them on my jeep, which is a Sunday Driver at best, and my RV. Make the connection, plug it in and walk away. Extend the life on your expensive batteries and have your equipment ready to go when you are.

Installing can be difficult but depends on vehicle, the plug cable is short (about 4in long) but connections to battery are long and works great.

I learned the importance of these awesome little chargers from Jay Leno. He had one of these for each of his cars in his warehouse/showrooms next to the Burbank Airport. Now I have a dozen or more for my applications as well. They are worth a hundred times their value in protecting those horribly expensive car batteries and will GREATLY extend their useful life.

In a 1974 Corvette, the battery is inside the car behind the drivers seat, very difficult to get to. I was able to mount the charger to the bottom side of the battery cover. Now all I need to do is plug the charger into an extension cord. Really convenient.
