Great for a weak battery until you purchase a new one. Charges then maintains so you can start your vehicle

I've had this on my car for several years now. Coming back to buy a 2nd for another car of mine.I currently have this on a car that only gets driven a few times a month and often not for long enough distances to really charge the battery back up from all the car's parasitic draws. I didn't want a disconnect switch as I don't want the annoyance of my car loosing all of it's memory items (radio setting, seat settings, adaptive trans shift patterns, etc.) every time I go to drive it.I have this mounted under my hood and tied it in to the main fuse block terminal as the battery didn't have a convenient mounting location nearby. Still works great.Even if I forget to plug it in and my group 65 battery gets low (not flat dead) it has no problem charging it back up over the next 24hrs (or less).

Works just like it is suppose to.

Installed on my 1955 Chevy, works fine.

Installation is tough on modern cars with little room under the hood.Once installed it has done a great job of maintaining the battery.One night the outside temp was below zero and the car started the next morning like it was summer.

Once I figured out where to put it under the hood, I didn't trust the two-sided tape that came with it in the cold weather, so definitely secured it with the included zip tie. Make sure to double check whether the positive or negative post of the battery is grounded. Then plugged it in and it starts to work. Being retired and with the Covid situation, I'm not driving much, so my battery doesn't have a chance to charge itself. Excellent decision to get this battery maintainer.

Umm.... It's a battery charger. It charges my battery and it doesn't overcharge it, so it does what I need it to do. Maybe I shouldn't write reviews, I can't get overly excited about something that does what I paid for it to do.

Purchased this unit to maintain the battery on a collector car that is only driven a few times per year. PERFECT...!!!Note: this is a battery maintainer, not a charger. If you are looking for a charger, buy one of their larger units.

I added this charger to my zero turn mower battery to prevent it from discharge damage from the non operational winter period that prematurely ruined my last battery. I intend to keep it on the mower just during the months of November through March and putting it away to keep it from getting muddy / dirty during mowing season.So far had no issues as few have expressed. Will see the reliability in the future since I only have installed it a little over two months now.

I have used these for years to maintain batteries on an RV.They are reliable and effective.
