There are 65 experiments but only the first 30 or so were interesting to my children. The instructions and scientific explanations could be written better. It is a good idea to skim through the labs because you will need to save some of the experiments form previous labs to use on other experiments, which is kind of a pain to have to do. All of the experiments worked out for us. My kids liked the section on polymers the best, which was making instant snow, gummy worms, expanding jelly balls. and slushy goo water gel.
