This thing works very well. I would have liked for it to be adjustable such that the poles could be held vertical (straight up). The holder will adjust that way, but the handles on all of my rods stick out too far for this to work. This is even though I have the holder mounted on a brace with about a foot drop right behind the holder. Still happy with the purchase.

Scotty produces great fishing products. Long lasting: you won't be replacing this because the mount broke!
