The Sea Dog Marine is a premium electric oil pump that is compact and lightweight. This type of pump is a self-priming 12V pump that attaches to battery terminals with alligator clips. The electric oil pump has a maximum time of 30 minutes. At the suction side, the pump can create a vacuum. Because it can lift liquids, foot valves are not required. Only before the first start-up is a liquid fill required; the pump will re-prime itself after that. The Sea Dog oil pump is not recommended for pumping away transmission oil, water, or combustible liquids and is not for commercial use.

Very pleased with this product. Right out of the box, the hoses and everything worked perfectly for changing the oil in my 5.0 MPI Mmercruiser. The smaller hose fits perfectly down the dipstick tube, and the larger discharge tube has plenty of length to reach your used oil container.

This thing is awesome. Used it to suck the oil out of my 7.4s and the hose provided connects directly to the dipstick tube. Her the job done quickly
