I have used Seafoam on small engines for gas treatment and winter storage. Never really thought about using it to clean an auto engine. My 2002 car with almost 200,000 miles had LOUD motor noises that would last until engine warmed up. 5 minutes or more is polite. I knew it said for ALL engines so I looked it up. 1 bottle in gas tank and 6 ounces direct in oil. (Note: I did not use spray for intake) Wiped my hands off and started car. 15 seconds the knocks and rattles were all but GONE! I let it run at idle for 5 minutes then would rev engine off and on to 2000 - 2500 RPMs next 5 minutes. Motor now has more power, no motor knocks or tics, no exhaust smoke like prior. Now I had changed oil less than 300 miles prior to this and oil was still nice and tan. I have drove just under 300 miles since. Oil was so dirty it looked like it had never been changed! I did notice a rough idle after so I used the intake spray. Smoked bad, smelled bad but now the oil motor is purring! I was not sure what to expect but from now on, I am adding 1oz per quart of oil (to oil) after each oil change. I have tried other cleaners but compared to Seafoam, I wasted my money on those.Seafoam - I am beyond impressed!!!!!!!

Easy to use and it seems to have improved the smoothness of my engine during it's idle state.

I ordered two cans of this solution in order to help improve my fuel economy. Unfortunately, there is no one fix for fuel efficiency, but this product is the easiest way to make a significant difference. After two cycles of filling up and pouring one canister into the tank, the engine seemed to run more smoothly, MPG went from 25 to 28, and acceleration was much improved.Overall, fuel additives are a relatively inexpensive way to boost performance and prevent future problems.

I have an 18 year old 2004 Grand Prix GTP with 70k miles that, over the last 2 years, had started to lose significant gas mileage. When new, if I did a granny run at 55MPH on the highway, I could see 34-36MPG. That had dropped all the way down to 24. Instead of 25-27 combined, I was seeing 18.I changed out everything I could think of: new brakes, new hubs, transmission fluid/filter, air filter, fuel filter, coolant flush, new plugs, supercharger oil, Techron additive. Gas mileage was still in the toilet.I then tried a can of Seafoam. 5oz in the crankcase and the rest in the tank. First off, it cleared up a metallic scraping sound that my car was making on shut-down right away. Then, after about 100 miles of driving, my gas mileage came back. Pic is of a 55MPH highway run. 33MPG! My combined is at 27.This car had had regular oil/filter changes, always with full synthetic oil; but apparently that wasn't enough to keep it from gunking up with the car's infrequent use. One can of Seafoam brought it back to within a few percent of new.

All i can say is when i filled the tank on my truck the miles available read 355 miles. I put a can of this in the tank and ran it to almost empty. Filled the tank again and used it up. The next time i filled up it read 420 miles available. Guess my mileage improved.

I use this stuff all time in a lot of different things. From my wife's Chevy Cruze to my chainsaw. A great multi use product. Dump it in your fuel tank, crankcase or use it as a fuel stabilizer.
