This made a perfect fit over our ski pole on our boat. It replaced the old one which was 30 years old. Its made well, perfect fit, looks great.

I bought this insert to tidy up the control cable passage in the splashwell of the 1972 Sea King boat that we're restoring. The original insert was only two bolts so I had to drill the other four but, thanks to industry standards, the first two lined up perfectly with the 9:00 and 3:00 holes on the insert allowing me to just drill and bolt the remaining four. Installation was probably about ten to twelve minutes all-up. Looks great and makes the splashwell look a lot more finished than it would have with just a gaping hole in the fiberglass.
