the problem is when going for a major tweeter upgrade like I did , need to ensure the magnet fits through the existing speaker hole in the enclosure. these magnets are huge , had to expand the enclosure via a hole saw.

Metal construction, has a capacitor crossover on board. Nice appearance. Clean sound. I did not like that the capacitor was just soldered to the positive leg of the speaker when the capacitor should have been epoxied to the speaker body. Also the connection to the capacitor needs to be soldered on since there is no terminal to connect the wire. There is however a terminal present on the negative side. Good all around product that just needs some adjustment.

I was afraid these would be way too bright or shrill for the dash but I'm tired of blowing tweeters so I bought these. They DO get brighter as power increases but they sound great! I'm running about 100 watts of Fosgate power to each them.
