Handle is flimsy

Great product and price

I have nothing to complain about. Heavy. Fort Knox it is not but I have things in it we want protected from fire. It lives in the big safe which is secure but not fireproof, does it work? So far nothing has burned in it but there hasn't been a fire. As for reviews saying their stuff was covered in mold the manufacturer instructions warn you about moisture protection. I placed the documents in a heavy ziplock bag. So far no issues.

If somebody really wanted to break into this thing, I'm 100 certain they could do it with enough time and force... but this is purposefully built to protect the contents from the harsh elements (fire, waters, heat, etc...), not necessarily to stop James Bond from capturing its contents inside -- so beware of its proper use case. This needs to be hidden and secured in an area that is difficult to locate in a burglary, since it can simply be walked off with, if not brute forced at the scene.Longevity / Long Lasting Quality: To Be DeterminedI've only had it for a short period, but considering that it will be stored away in a relatively calm environment, I doubt it will have any issues in its lifetime.Overall Value: 5 StarsI purchased this safe for less than $60, and I think the value compares to others 1.5 to 2x its price. It's heavy and sturdy but my concern is the security. Parts of the locking mechanism is made of plastic so it can be easily open

Important documents and money

I always open things like this a few times, lock it, unlock it, open it. Make sure it's working. Did that for this and it worked fine enough. So I put some things in it... and it's just a month since purchase and the key won't turn. In this case, it makes me feel good to read the review that it's not burglar proof since I'm going to have to pry this open to get our stuff out.

Buyer Beware- unit does NOT weigh 10 pounds as specified- it weighs 35 pounds- driver dropped it from waist height on my concrete porch and shook the house.I bought it strictly because of the lighter listed weight

The latch has broken already and not to mention the gasket falling out and makimg it impossible to close and then the key getting stuck

I don't like how dirty it is. Tried cleaning and no luck. I broke the plastic handle carrying it to my bedroom closet

A bit bulky, but very, very solid for my needed documents

Sentry Safe CFW20201is very heavy and secure. I'm very impressed how well it is made. I keep all my personal paperwork in the case, and then keep it inside my gun safe for extra protection. Make sure you don't buy a similar Sentry model that I've seen in local stores for less money. This one weighs every bit of 20 Lbs. and the cheaper ones will weigh less.

Totally sturdy but you cannot fit folders (file and pocket) inside without mangling them. Also does not always clasp close on first, or second, try.

We had a Sentry Safe for years and thought we'd go with the same for a new one. I should not have ignored the reviews commenting about the lock. What a disappointment and waste of money. We will be purchasing a different brand of safe in the future.

What a waste. It is a substantial metal box but the flimsy plastic handle, which seems to be essential to locking it, broke off. Why design something that way. So...off the the recycle bin.

overall is good, it fits 8.5 normal size document, however, my document has a clip on the edge so it makes my stack of the document to be about 8.75. I have to bend it down to get it fit. Another issue I think that it could have better is to make the handle stronger. every time I carry this it and I feel like the handle is about to break off.

Heavy, and sturdy, but 2 main flaws that I noticed... lock is easily picked, and the latch is not strong and would be easy to break. Other than that it is good. The weight is a good deterrent from taking it, and the walls themselves seem thick and sturdy, overall good for the price.(Edit... Realized this is a fire safe... Ya know... To protect things from fire... I personally haven't thrown it I to a fire to test it's flame resistance, but it would probably protect what's in it from fire...)

It feels heavy and pretty well made. It's big enough to fit small items and paper documents.

I like the safe is simple and durable
