Mission: Shelter KC: A Kansas City Rescue Mission is a Christ-centered community that offers freedom and hope to homeless men and women in Kansas City. A non-profit organization with more than 70 years of service, Shelter KC helps the poor and homeless by providing emergency shelter, daily meals, case management referrals, counseling sessions, educational skill training, spiritual development, residential recovery programs and more. We believe that the love of Jesus Christ can bring freedom from the past and hope for the future - we see it happen at Shelter KC every day. Shelter KC provides overnight shelter at our Men's Center 365 days a year. Volunteer opportunities are available, even on weekends! Shelter KC receives no government funding, relying instead on the generous support of our community.
