I studied under the original Signing Naturally books and I love these updated ones! More info, modern and better videos. Worth the purchase!

It is a good workbook and used intensely in class. This one is different and better than the "Vista" version of the same title. I bought both trying to get the most affordable book for college and many textbook search engines seemed to get the two confused. This one has a lot more information and student user friendly. You are probably only going to buy this if required for a class. I believe it to be a good value with the content and DVDs. I am glad to have purchased new. I usually rent or buy textbooks used.

I am glad that this book has finally been updated from the old grey covered version. It has modern images and is overall a better textbook now. The update was overdue. This is the only ASL textbook series I have ever used, and I think it is okay. The one downfall I feel this book has is the instructors book. I don't think that a class taught directly from the book would be a good class, a teacher or instructor would need to add their own information on top of the strictly book based curriculum to make the class a good class.

By far the best resource I've used for studying ASL. The videos are clear, and the workbook gives great exercises. Worth the money, in my opinion!

Great guide. Definitely easy to follow and plenty of excersises to help. The book is split on two disks, just be sure to not to scratch them.

Really enjoyed the first class (Units 1-6). Got this book in anticipation of the next semester and looked it over. It seems to be every bit as good (clearly stated, thorough) as the first book.
