Mail carriers typically open the gate and leave it open not knowing dogs are loose and then your dogs are gone. Now you can lock your gate and put the doorbell outside the gate. Works pretty well, don't forget to take the plastic covering off the battery of the doorbell portion. The sounds and rings are plentiful but not that great and the sound is tinny. The volume doesn't get really high but at least they give you two so you can spread them out in the house, not sure the further away one will pick up yet though

There are so many options for the choice of tunes. We even had a bday tune for our family members bday. It's loud enough to be heard from other rooms.

Set up was fast. You get different tones to choose from and I like that you get two.

Easy to setup and it is very nice that it comes with 2 ringers which can be used in different areas of the house.

This is very well made. The volume of the speaker is great, you can make it really loud. Took all of 2 minutes to set up. Comes with 2 plug in ringers. The width of the doorbell is great for area's that aren't wide. Buy this and you will have no regrets

This doorbell is priced great and easy to install. We laugh at all the sound choices! I have had it up for a month and so far, its still connected and working great. Its under cover so not sure about weatherproof!

Placed a chime upstairs and downstairs. Very loud but volume was adjustable. Good variety of chimes/sounds to select from. Would recommend to purchase.

They work great, BUT they take up enough room that you can't use a 3 prong plug in top outlet so keep that in mind

Just purchased a home where the previous owner removed all wiring that wasn't basic electric, and I had no desire to wire a doorbell. It is placed on a covered porch, so I cannot speak as to how it holds up to the elements but it has been working really well for us.Both receivers are set to the quietest volume. If there was a setting one level quieter I would likely choose that. One is placed on the main floor, and is easily heard upstairs. The second is in the basement, which is the more critical place to have it because we could not hear knocking over video games or headsets. Our house isn't huge, but I really like having two due to the setup.Any downsides are relatively minor. If you plan to have it share an outlet with a fully-pronged plug it won't fit. As you can see in the attached picture, it is an extremely tight squeeze with a two-pronged plug. I put mine in back corners where I wouldn't need the outlet space because I didn't want to have to unplug it for vacuuming or other appliances.The other slight downside, which I knew about ahead of time from listening to the rings on a youtube video, there's very few rings to choose from. There are a bunch of various songs and sounds, but minimal actual doorbell-sounding ones. I think I chose the default. This item appears to be marketed toward adults, I don't know why not even a quarter of the 52 sounds were some variant of chime, bell, ring, etc.

Super basic doorbell, but that's exactly what I was looking for. Very easy to install within 10 minutes.

I really like the chime...it works hundreds of feet down our driveway.

The doorbell was easy to install and set up, including picking a ringtone. We have two ringtone units, one in our upstairs living room, and the second in our downstairs family room, which are Bluetooth connected to the doorbell button. All works as expected and we are very satisfied with the unit.
