With a choice of over 52 varied sounds themes the basic “ding dong” was the one chosen as melodies sounded very artificial and tinny not at all a pleasant sound. On the other hand this unit was an easy fix to replace a non working doorbell

I bought it for my brother to replace his old doorbell that was found to just ding. He absolutely loves it. Easy, quick install. Loves all the different tunes. Can't wait for Christmas to put a Christmas tune ring tone.

Installed with adhesive mount on brick porch wall and plugged in two receivers downstairs in two story home. When the chime goes off it can be heard anywhere in house. Haven't tried any different tones because the traditional one which is first works great.

Took me awhile to figure out why the button wasn't pairing to the plug-in-bell. Battery was dead. Replaced it and everything worked as it should. My husband struggled to get the button installed outside our door but was finally successful. We did the install with the screws--more secure than the tape, we assumed.I put the second plug-in-bell at the back of the house, unfortunately I guess there's too much interference and it doesn't ring.

I wish I could give it 100 Stars. I just love it. It has tons of tunes and sounds to appeal to anyone for a doorbell. I like Beethoven's Fur Elise the best. It's better than just a Ding-Dong doorbell because the tune lasts longer so you can't miss someone at the door.

My current bell was only audible in the kitchen. This wireless doorbell is amazing. Volume can be turned way up if you are hearing impaired. Grandkids love to cycle through the 50 sound selections. Several traditional bell sounds, rest are songs, nature, and animal sounds. With two receivers that plug into a regular electric socket, I can hear when the bell rings both upstairs and downstairs. Bell/transmitter was easy to install. Screws were used. It is partially shielded by the back door, so not sure about waterproof properties. It has rained a few times and so far so good. Great product for the price.

Love this ringer! No more yelling up the stairs for my kids. They love that they can pick their own song/sound for the one in their room. Plug it in to the outlet, pick alert, adjust volume and then mount the Call button. So easy.

Easy to install and wonderful it comes with two plug in chimes, yet given where you place them, when you place the emitter it may or may not activate the chimes. I think the emitter needs to be stronger in order to reach where you have plugged in the chimes.

My husband bought this when I was so ill, I could barely get out of bed for anything more than bathroom needs. I was too weak to grab the phone to call his cell if I needed him. Then I remembered the thought of the doorbell as a call button. I set one up for my mother years before, and she did have an emergency need a few years later.This would be good for sick children. Put the button on a string of some sort.

For the technologically challenged such as myself, setting this up was a breeze! Have wished for a doorbell for 12 years and didn’t know this was just waiting for me. Sleek design, pleasant sound (the classic doorbell chime is the first of 50 tunes that get progressively more ridiculous), adjustable volume levels on both dingers, and very easy set up made this a satisfying purchase. The trim around my front door is tiny and decorative so the ringer button couldn’t fit there. I also didn’t want to mount it to the brick, so I used the adhesive to mount it right to my storm door under the handle and it’s subtle and classy. The pizza delivery guy rang it for the first time tonight and my family was almost more excited about that than the pizza. Excellent little product!

The receiver partially covers the the top receptacle when plugged into the bottom one - making the top receptacle useless. Otherwise it works fine.

I needed a louder doorbells. This one sticks on so no need for drilling. Plus there are two chimes so I have one downstairs and one upstairs. Works very well.
