I look after my parents. Meaning they have multiple medical issues and I live with and take care of them. Last week my father had a bad seizure while we were all sleeping. Mom desperately called for me but it took a good 5 minutes for me to hear her. Blessfully, I got in there in time to prevent him from choking on his blood from biting his tongue. I don't want any of us to go through that again. And so I bought this doorbell. Wish I had thought of this before. It is loud, with a variety of sounds to choose from. It also has great distance reception. Thankfully I've yet to need a real test. But now both of my parents have a easy means to get my attention in the case of another emergency. Because of my unconventional use of the device, I can't faithfully give it 5 stars. If anything changes, I'll be sure to update my review.

The products works well as described. The adhesive tab for the bell push makes it ideal for apartment use. Even when mounted on a steel clad door, the bell worked flawlessly.The one item I wish were better is the sound - I would have preferred a louder volume and longer duration of the sound.Still, the product works well.

Works good, like it, but prefer to have more rings choice, don't like songs and melodies, after installing we didn't have rain and snow, cannot say anything about waterproof

I put this in my house because I did not have a way to signal upstairs if someone was at my door. Now because I never had a door bell, nobody notices and I have to put a sign under it. Does anyone use doorbells anymore or just invasive cameras everywhere?

Devices work well except on occasion one of the receivers does not ring. Kind of annoying!

They work great, BUT they take up enough room that you can't use a 3 prong plug in top outlet so keep that in mind

This doorbell works perfectly, it has a ton of chimes to choose from. The volume has four options and all of them are extremely loud. Even the lowest setting is extremely loud. Definitely would be better if the volume could be controlled better.

Almost 5 stars.Easy install.Easy to customize.Plug and play.Directions: if your eyes aren't perfect you'll need a magnifying glass. The print is grey, not black. Really?!!ANo then there's the key. “A key?” you ask. They provide you with a small metal key that you'll need to open the back of the remote and to replace the battery. I find it hard enough to keep track of remotes, let alone a tiny, flat key. There isn't even a hole in the key for a ring. I guess I'll chick in the “junk drawer” in the kitchen.It's a small detail. If you lose the key you'll need a bladed screwdriver when it's time to replace the battery. Be sure to get a wide blade so as to be sure you don't dent the cover.

Took me awhile to figure out why the button wasn't pairing to the plug-in-bell. Battery was dead. Replaced it and everything worked as it should. My husband struggled to get the button installed outside our door but was finally successful. We did the install with the screws--more secure than the tape, we assumed.I put the second plug-in-bell at the back of the house, unfortunately I guess there's too much interference and it doesn't ring.

Easy to install and wonderful it comes with two plug in chimes, yet given where you place them, when you place the emitter it may or may not activate the chimes. I think the emitter needs to be stronger in order to reach where you have plugged in the chimes.

The receiver partially covers the the top receptacle when plugged into the bottom one - making the top receptacle useless. Otherwise it works fine.

The doorbell was very easy to install and sync - took all of 2 minutes! We were hoping to find a pleasant chime amongst the 52 advertised. Alas, most of them are long snatches of well-known pieces of music (much more appropriate for a ringtone) or animal sounds. I'm sure someone out there would be happy to have a cat-meow as a doorbell! There are two choices that are actual doorbell-length chimes.

So built a new warehouse and needed something to tell employees truckers were at the door. Worked way better than expected. I despise the obnoxious bells of the old days so very nice change.
