Works great when I just need a few shakes for a recipe. Recently made salmon “burnt ends” in the smoker, perfect for stuff like that.

I got this as an alternative to buying the fresh cilantro because I like the flavor of this herb. I read a lot of reviews that say it isn't even cilantro, but they really haven't looked into it deeply. I found that the flavor comes out if you soak it in water, and definitely noticed the cilantro smell and flavor. You have to work it the right way and you will be able to get that cilantro taste out of it, but there is no substitute for the flavors of the fresh herbs.

Bought this because I didn't want to have to travel to our local hippie mart when I was our, but I wish I had, the flavor is a little better in the other brand .
