The certified organic label and 0.78 oz packet of cut and sifted leaves on this cilantro leaf make it a promising choice. It delivers freshness and value for money, with the packaging helping to maintain the leaves' freshness. The flavor didn't meet my expectations, which was a letdown. It's still a good option for those who prioritize organic choices and value, but you may need to adjust your seasonings accordingly when using them in your dishes.

Would not cook Mexican/Southwest without it. Began using the Simply Organic brands many years ago when I first discovered it at the Whole Foods Market at the Alamo Quarry in San Antonio, TX (THE BEST Hispanic city in the USA!). Its flavor freshness, for a dried, shelf product, are terrific. This product, along with ground cumin chilis are an absolute must for THE FLAVOR! I find the Simply Organic cilantro to be more concentrated so I use less in each dish. One may not notice its particular flavor when properly portioned in a dish; however, without it, you'll definitely notice that something is missing! You may find it to be a bit pricey, but, with this brand, for most of their products, you definitely get what you pay for!

Dried spices can be hit or mix. Always vibrant colors and fresh looking even dried and not faded. The quality of this brand is right on and I usually buy it when I can find it. I hate fresh cilantro, but can use dry. This is great in my homemade taco mix. I think their sets are great as house warming or wedding gifts too.
