Actually works. Can tell the difference in planing out. Used the no drill option but the plate already had a hole in it so added an extra screw there to hold it in place. So far so good.

To be honest I was skeptical and the clerk at the boat dealer had nothing good to say about these fins.But, my boat planes faster at lower speed. The porpoising is reduced. No impact on top speed. Boat turns smooth.I wish I had bought this 20 years ago - a must have.Installed on SeaRay 185 with mercruzer 4.3l 190hp with Alpha drive.

Installed on a 50hp Tahatsu. I was having issues with getting step when my boat was empty due to weight distribution. Installed this at the recommendation of the dealer, it has made all the difference. I now get on step faster and once I trim the boat out it cruises well at lower RPM than before which save fuel. Very happy with it. Note I drilled holes as I did it want to take the chance with the clamp on installation and lose it.

I bought after seeing someone post this on a boating page and then the positive reviews had me intrigued. I have a 2021, Tahoe, 1950 that has quite the front end lift when you start out. This changed all of that. Very little to no lift now, even with 3-4 people sitting in the back and none up front. I was quite impressed!! Install (no drilling option) was easy and a perfect fit. After running it for 2-3 days on the lake I was pulling and wiggling it to see if it came loose.that thing wouldn't budge. It made water sports (knee boarding, wakeboarding) easy to get going and I swear it even gives it a smoother ride when you hit another boat's wake. You can't beat the price and I feel it's a must buy for any water sport boating and engine (mercury 150). Update to follow with photos

This will not fit an OMC Cobra 5.0 Stern drive since the cavitation plate is tapered down. This does not allow the product to lay flat. Should be noted on the product description.

Priced right, easy install. Fit well in my alpha one out drive. I didn't drill any holes. It is right where I installed it. Getting to plane is better and turning seems better. Overall happy with product

I had it for 5 mins and it feel off. This product needs to have better torque specs if your going to us it.

What a great product, It helps in turns and fuel consumption. It has taken at least 2-3 sec less time to get on top. Will and have recommend tp friends and others.

I was kinda skeptical. I read some of the reviews so I when ahead and purchased. Wow what a difference it made in my boat. I have a 24' stingray with cuddy cabin. It planes out so quick and smooth now and handles great. Thanks!

I installed this product on my 16 ft aluminum v-Hull boat powered by 40hp Mercury. Before installation the bow of the boat would rise high on acceleration and remain at this attitude until speed increased and the bow rotated to plain. After installation the boat rotates immediately to plain in a seamless transition. Easy installation and visually attactive.
