Had to cut sections of sewer pipe to replace with PVC. With a carbide blade this saw was a beast. I was able to make multiple cuts with no issues with the saw. 100 worth it for the price. Each cut with the correct blade would take you less than 2 minutes. Had to use this in the crawl space with about 3 ft of height so I was really crammed in there and this saw got the job done.

Works very well for the money and also has easy blade changeout. Would be cool if it came with a case but cant have everything. ;)

The item came on time, and it really worked out of the box. I ordered 9 and 12 saws to add to this order. The uneven saw teeth are a plus. i spent thousand dollars for chain saws that didn't work as expect. Now i have this. It cut the 10 diameter tree branch in couple sec and very easy to handle, light weight. Will recommend to others.

I'm a woman and this saw is not too heavy and enough of amps to cut up a sofa and wing chair including the springs the only thing I added was upgraded DeWalt blades in order

Bought this Skill reciprocating saw 2 years ago. I used it mostly for tree cutting. I cut down and trimmed nearly 300 strawberry guava trees and literally beat the heck out of this saw and it is still working great.

I picked up some metal blades from the hardware store and this saw worked great. Cut through the metal wire shelving for my pantry like butter. And this was the more expensive “heavy duty“ shelving. Great saw for the price!

I worried about handling something with a 3k stroke/min speed, but it handles very nicely - stable and controllable. While I have been using it outdoors, it would be highly valued for indoor projects, too. I bought an additional pack of blades to have a longer blade for branches, small trees, and even taking out stumps in bites. It is not meant for continuous use. The fast-working motor generates considerable heat, so don't expect to use it continuously for more than a half-hour or so. While it vents out the heat, it will eventually get too hot to handle. Probably a good sign to stop so that the motor doesn't burn out. Given the affordable price, I found this to be an excellent purchase for a versatile tool.

I am wondering why I never got one before! This is perfect for about anything! I took out a bunch of plants in the front yard, cutting the roots, and taking down 2 huge bushes, all with the original blade that came with it. The blade is now crap, but, I used it as long as I could! It's light and easy to use. I used to use a chainsaw, but now, am using this for most of the landscaping and bush/small tree removal, and for tree trimming.

Heads up, if you buy this, mine was delivered in packaging with the Skil logo and pics of what it was on it. Not in an outer brown box.I was glad I was home to get it right away, because this on the porch would be porch pirate bait for sure. Something like this should come in a plain box.
