This flour is a game changer in homemade pizza making! Just follow the easy recipe on the bag to kick up your pizza game. Definitely worth the little extra above buying all purpose. The only trick is you just need to remember to make the dough the day before to give it a long rise like the recipe calls for. I've recommended this to everyone I know who makes their own pizza dough. I wish I had found this years ago.

I've made Friday night pizza for years, but only in the past year started making my own dough. With all-purpose dough, when stretching the pizza dough, it pulls back together and also it is pretty easy to put a tear in the dough while stretching. With this 00 dough, it can be stretched very thin, does not pull back, and tends to not tear. I ultimately migrated to a 50/50 mix and it works perfectly for what I seek out of my pizza dough. The next step was learning how to make a proper spoolish prep. That takes the dough to the next level

This flour doesn't mix well with water; it tends to be too wet and goo-ii. It sticks to everything and is hard to wash off the utensils. I believe that I will stick to using the bread flour instead. I've had much better luck with my pizza dough with the bread flour than the standard self rising flour. I've yet to bake the pizza to see how the crust turns out but when I do, I'll update my review. Update: it baked up very nicely and the taste is good. _x000D_ I'm sure that now that I have worked and tasted this OO pizza flour, I will continue to use it and I already make enough pizza to fine tune my dough mixture.

This flour is essential to get a nice crispy dough for your pizza, I recommend it to be used when you have access to a pizza stone/steel or a full pizza oven because the flour is milled so fine the dough is to be rolled thin and cooked fast to give a nice airy crispy crust. Slowly cooked will give a chewier crust. If you're making something like a pan pizza I recommend bread flour.

I recently purchased King Arthur 00 Pizza Flour and was extremely impressed with the results. The flour produces a crispy crust with a delicate texture that is perfect for making authentic, wood-fired style pizza. The dough is also easy to work with and rises beautifully. I also appreciate that it is unbleached and unbromated. I highly recommend this flour for anyone looking to make delicious homemade pizza.

Like many, the search for amazing pizza is my goal. This is a game changer to us! The goal. Cook pizza at high temps. 550-700 F. Normal flour has sugars that burn at high temps. This four does not!! ( unless over cook of course). Follow the recipe on the bag and has been great for pizza. Another hint, if you going to add onions or peppers. Broil them before hand. The short cooking times at high heat will not have time to cook them well. Picture shows pizza after 7 minutes of preheated pizza stone at 500F.Next. The fire cooked pizza!

I really did not expect this flower to make the difference that it does. Our crust has been fluffier but still has crisp edges. We've bought multiple bags to have on hand for our pizza making nights and recommended it to many friends.

Tried this because I was unhappy with the crusts made regular all-purpose flour, Using my usual recipes the dough was easier to handle, stretched nicely, and had a great flavor when prepared.
