Putting my socks on after a surgery

After a surgical procedure which limited my mobility I had to rely on someone to help me get my socks on. I discovered this sock aid and took a chance. This is the best invention AND I do not have to depend on someone else! It is very easy to use and well made. Use the hand loops on the strap ends so you don't drop the strap and have to try to bend over. Excellent product!!

I was late for work again and I finally confessed it was because it took forever to put my socks on. I could not bend far over or twist my leg due to arthritis in my hip and I almost always ended up crying about either the pain or the frustration. A co-worker with cerebral palsy since childhood told me I needed to set myself up for success by getting the tools I needed to do my everyday tasks. Found these and the 3 separate prongs that you fit your sock over are a slightly different design than most - others have 1 solid curved surface. I cut my sock time down and had no pain putting them on. I do use very stretchy socks and sometimes need to snug them up my leg a little after using the tool. Only unfortunate thing is that they are made in China and I try to avoid that.

For me this has been the best sock assist I have ever received. They wear out but I haven't found anything to replace

So easy to use and no bulky-hard metal apparatus to deal with...I got this because I hurt my back and couldn't bend over ...

After knee surgery I could not bend my knees enough to put on my socks. Now with this sock aid I no longer struggle.
