OMG this product is perfect for normal socks. I originally got the metal kind that sits in the ground and you slip your foot into and that works for compression socks, but not normal socks. I use this to put on ankle high socks and it's perfect for that. As others have stated I don't think this one will work for compression socks.

Need this for a broken knee which I could not bend. Did not want to ask for help getting my socks on. It worked would love a used market for these since its usefulness was short lived. Now I can manage.

Some of these are too short and Don't work as well as this brand but when you get the longer one, these are the easiest sock dinners I have found to use.

My husband's leg just doesn't bend to where he can put socks on he struggled was struggling so much and I was having to help him put socks on. Well this little device came to the rescue.

If you've had a TMA amputation this product solves the problem of getting a standard sock around the heel. Price is economical as it pays for itself for one pair of special socks. Still on the fence for durability, as I have just received this. Not flimsy. So far this product makes the cut (pun intended!).

I have a hip joint issue and have great difficulty putting a sock on my right foot. The contortions required are quite frustrating and a bit painful. This product is very easy to use. You slip it into the sock, hang on to the straps and throw it on the floor. Use the straps to hold it in place as you slip your foot into the sock and pull it out. It is good for getting the sock started and in the right place so that you can finish by pulling your sock up to the final position.

I recently had back surgery, so I can't bend over to put on my socks. I bought a solid plastic sock aide which worked fine for regular socks. Now I have to wear compression socks due to swelling in my legs from the surgery. The sock aide I had did not work for compression socks. I got this flexible sock aide, and what a difference! It works great! It was a game changer for me. I can put them on without help now. Highly recommend!

Works well to start sock on foot. Will not always put sock all the way on. Depending on how hard you tug you may tear a strap loose but you can probably resize it

I've been using these for 17 years ever since my hip replacement. This is my second one and I need it due to the hip replacement and arthritis. I can put socks on without bending and it's easy to use.

I had first ordered a hard plastic sock aid that I didn't like. It really required stretching out the sock and I have wide feet with a bunion on one foot that sock aid cut into my foot when I tried using it.This one works every time smoothly and easily. I my experience, one key is to avoid looping the back of the sock over the sock aid. I found I really struggled to pull the sock on if I did that. So instead I just bring the sock near the back (strap end) of the sock aid and pull. The terry cloth on the outside offers enough resistance to pull the back of the sock over my hell every time. It is so easy now.

This was purchased to help my client, put his ankle socks on, when he is dressing himself, by himself. it takes him 3 minutes VS 45 minutes just to put socks on, he recovered from a stroke several years ago, and still has challenges. this product is very easy for him to use, and is compact enough to store.
