I am awaiting hip replacement surgery, and it has become painfully difficult to get my sock on. This simple little device made it easy and painless. I appreciate a simple design that works.

It helps with putting on both socks and shoes. In 2014 I was given one of these devices while in Stanford Hospital after a knee replacement surgery It lasted nine years..L:ove it!!

These sock “putter onners” are excellent. I had used the metal ones in the past and they worked well and feel (other than the straps) like they'd last forever.These soft ones though, were the greatest find ever. They're built well but, seems like they could wear out over time because of their material. Either way I've never had an easier time putting on socks ever. Instead of being rigid, these glide and, form over your foot which makes it much easier to get the socks on. Just for the “record,” I'm a 6 foot 460lb man. I have a bad back and bad knees. One hint is; pull the socks to the top (as far as they'll go) and then pull all the way through and the socks will end up all the way on! Great Product!

It's a great unit to help you put on your socks if your in a physical situation where you need some help getting your socks on. I will be interested to see how long it holds up, as I have also used the aid that looks like a large piece of pvc pipe, which broke. This unit is comfortable and very usable.

I pulled my groin muscle badly, I was unable to put on socks while in therapy so I purchased this item. What a riot !!!! , Put sock ohern device then put foot on. Don't forget too wiggle your toes and Walla !!! the sock is on. Repeat on the other sock and you're ready to go. I don't have to use it anymore but I will be keeping it. If you decide to buy, you will laugh how well it work. Best for the money, Enjoy!!

Since I had shoulder surgery it is very difficult to put on compression socks as they are so tight. I specifically bought this for that reason. Unfortunately, the socks are too tight to even fit on this dressing aid and it's flexible. It works great on all other socks.

the fact it works easy to use however my occupational therapist had to teach my how to put it on since it didn't come with instructions and sometimes it slips off

My 90-year-old Dad used to dread getting up in the morning because he hated the struggle to put on his socks. I ordered this for him and he said it is wonderful! So easy to use!!

Bought this for a 93 year old who couldn't bend over to put socks on. Have also used it to start an elastic knee brace up over the foot to the calf so it can be reached and pulled up the rest of the way by hand. A GREAT assistive tool for the elderly who need some form of assistance while dressing independently. This little item has worked so well that we ordered a second to have on hand. Easy to use, seems sturdy.
