It's hard to find decent shorts at a good price. These fit the bill. Some colors are 100 cotton and some are a blend so read the description if that is important to you. The elastic is a little tight at first but will loosen up a little after a few washes. I am 5' 7 (33 inch waist) and 175lbs and the medium size fits perfect.

Simple, durable: I don't even use the drawstring! I don't know how many times I've tried to find 'black cotton shorts' but they were always too much - waistline, material, cost, etc. These are just the right amount of all things that I'll memorize this company's name for later.

bought these for my husband, he just needed some soft, comfy shorts for hanging around the house, sleeping in, or camping. he said he loves these, they're perfect. washed up beautifully, no shrinkage.

My husband has been averse to wearing shorts even in our hot summers, but this year, he gave in. I bought these so he could wear them to lounge around and go outside if he needed to without having to get totally dressed. They are lightweight, comfortable, he says, and he hasn't worn long pants since these and another pair arrived last week. That says a lot. Good deal.

I wear these shorts all the time. They are a perfect length for a 5' 8'' guy. Cotton is breathable.I love them

I bought these as loungewear.The material is a TAD heavy, but PERFECT for the air-conditioned home.I love these shorts and I hope they remain available for a long time. I purchased the first two pairs a couple years ago and liked them so much that I recently bought more to replace the nylon, basketball-style gym shorts I was using as alternates.I am done with the ventilated nylon ones now that I know cotton is still being used SOMEWHERE. I thought no one was manufacturing anything like this anymore because the brick-and-mortar stores don't stock these.

I have Hanes and Fruit of The Loom and Russel Athletic and several others. I use these as underwear rather than traditional underwear and these Soffe shorts are far and away the best yet. In a whole different universe, and the price is right, too!!If you haven't tried them, yet....just do it.
