Mission: Since 1977, Sojourner Center has provided shelter and support services to tens of thousands of women and children affected by domestic violence. Through it crisis shelter, transitional housing, child development center, educational programs, community outreach programs, legal advocacy program, on-site health care clinic, and pet shelter, Sojourner is able to positively impact the lives of those it serves.
Sojourner aims to be a national thought leader on the issue of domestic violence. Creating and using evidence-based best practices programs and services, Sojourner will help to frame the discussion regarding domestic violence and provide the tools necessary to address the issue.
As one of the nation's largest domestic violence shelters, Sojourner Center is a tireless advocate for domestic violence victims. With the continued support of the community, Sojourner Center can attain it vision of a world free from domestic violence.

Sojourner Center is a 501(c)(3) organization, with an IRS ruling year of 1978, and donations are tax-deductible.
